Chugiak Mustangs Football has been a high school football powerhouse in Alaska since 1964, and under the direction of Coach Ryan Landers they're looking to win another state championship. In the history of Chugiak Football the Mustangs have won over 11 conference championships since entering the Cook Inlet Conference, and  4 state championships (1981, 1984, 1988, and 1996). In the 2018 season they joined the  Chugach Conference.
